About IGNOU Mumbai Regional Center
Established in the year 2009 with the bifurcation of the Pune region, IGNOU Mumbai is providing students with the required quality education needed. Just like other regional centers of Indira Gandhi National Open University, the model for education for IGNOU Mumbai is also open and distant. IGNOU Mumbai has various specialisations to offer in undergraduate, postgraduate, diploma, certificate, and advanced diploma courses. The regional center has 36 study centers under it. The reason behind multiple study centers is the large mass of students pursuing their desired courses from IGNOU. One more reason for multiple study centers is to provide full convenience to students. Different study centers save students from traveling for hours by giving them study centers near their location. Not only does IGNOU Mumbai has various study centers, it also has various specialisations offered in a very affordable amount, keeping in mind that students from every segment of society pursue their higher education from IGNOU.

Admission Procedure for IGNOU Mumbai Regional Center ( Opening Admission for July 2024 Cycle)
The admission procedure for IGNOU Mumbai is the same as the admission procedure of every regional center of Indira Gandhi National Open University. Students who wish to fill the application form for July 2024 admission cycle will have to visit the official website to get the application form. Once they get the same they will have to fill in required information like name, mother’s name, father’s name, dob, etc.
Applicants will also have to upload scanned copies of the required documents to prove their educational background. After uploading the only thing left is to pay the application form fee and wait. If the course chosen by the applicant requires them to appear for an entrance exam then they will receive an admit card days before the examination is conducted. Once they appear and clear the entrance examination they will be shortlisted and their classes will begin shortly. The last date for the admission procedure has been extended multiple times and now is finally decided to be the 15th of December. Students interested can apply before the due date or wait until the next admission cycle starts.
IGNOU Mumbai Regional Center Admission Fee 2024
The admission fee for IGNOU is 200rs, this fee varies for different categories so students are advised to check the admission in the prospectus available on the official website of IGNOU. Not only the admission fee but course fee as well as examination is also as low as few bucks as Indira Gandhi National Open University started with the aim of providing quality education in an affordable manner for students all around irrespective of their financial status, race, gender, age, and color.
