What is the process of MBA admission in IGNOU January 2024?

Check Eligibility

Before applying for the Distance MBA at IGNOU, keep check the minimum eligibility criteria. Graduation is the minimum eligibility criteria for taking Admission in IGNOU. Apply for OPENMAT Online

The next step after is the application of OPENMAT Exams. Earlier you could apply for the OPEN in both Online and Offline mode. Now you want to apply for OPENMAT can only be done Online.

Submit for OPENMAT Exam

As you applied for OPENMAT, you should final submit your application before the last date of the OPENMAT form. Crosscheck all the information before final submission, as you cannot edit the form after final submission. Pay the OPENMAT fee for the final submission of the form.

Give OPENMAT Exam

On the announced date, sit for the OPENMAT Exam. You can download the hall ticket exam 10 days before the exam from the official website. You can see the result of the OPENMAT exam from the official website. A scorecard is also sent to you by IGNOU. If you have cleared the Cutoff marks you are eligible for the applying exams.

Register for Distance MBA

After you clear the OPENMAT, you have to apply for the Distance MBA course at IGNOU. After you fill the form, you must reach your IGNOU Regional center with the following documents:
1. Attested copies of certificates proving your educational qualifications
2. Original of the OPENMAT scorecard
3. Original of the OPENMAT Hall ticket
4. Category Certificate in the case of SC/ST/OBC students
Also the program Fee in the form of Demand Draft of Bank Challan which is payable at your nearest Regional Center.

Last Dates for IGNOU Distance MBA Admission

The application should reach the Regional Director on or before the last date for the receipt of the Application forms. The Last dates for admission for 2024 are as follows:
