Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree

For students who are interested in pursuing an MBA in the distance mode in any specialization, a bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognized university is required. Furthermore, a minimum grading requirement of an average of 55% is required. After you have completed all of this, you can take the entrance test for the IGNOU distance MBA; OPENMAT.

Course Duration

2-5 Years

The distance MBA in Business Management course is of 2 years, however, it can be extended to 5 years in total. IGNOu offers a total of 5 years to complete the distance MBA course or to pass all the exams. Hence, working professionals who remain busy and unable to attend exams one year due to any reason can appear next time within the duration of the course.

Admission Procedure 2024

You will need to give an IGNOU OPENMAT Entrance Test if you want to get an MBA in business management degree. Students have to register on the official IGNOU website for the OPENMAT exam, complete the application form, download the admit card and appear for the exam. You have to fill in a form and upload all relevant website documents after passing the OPENMAT test. Students can use any digital payment method on the IGNOU website to pay academic fees. Also, you can read the IGNOU Management Prospectus, available on the website, before applying for the Distance MBA program.
