Online Registration

The Student Registration Portal or the official IGNOU website are typically used to re-register students. It's possible that students will have to register or log in using their existing credentials.

Fee Payment

Students are responsible for paying the Ignou 2nd year admission costs for the next semester or year. Typically, you may accomplish this online using a variety of payment options including credit/debit cards, net banking, or e-wallets.

Document verification

Some programmes could ask students to upload scanned copies of pertinent records, such as their mark sheet from the previous semester, identification documentation, and passport-size photos.

Confirmation and Receipt

Students should get a confirmation receipt or acknowledgment following a successful Ignou 2nd year admission, which acts as evidence of their re-enrollment. Keep this receipt safe for reference in the future.

Due date Adherence

In order to prevent late fines and losing access to course materials, students must stick to the date for Ignou 2nd year admission.

You must create an account on the Portal. To continue, please select "New Registration." Please be sure to provide us your accurate mobile number and email address since without these, we won't be able to send you confirmation or other vital updates. Use your Username and Password to log in if you have previously registered on the site. If you experience problems enrolling on the portal (not receiving an OTP, forgetting your username or password, or experiencing any other issues), contact your regional center to have your account reset or to update your email address or cell phone number.

When making an online purchase, please proceed with caution. Do not divulge your card information or OTP to anybody. Please make payments using your own card or net banking wherever feasible. Payments may also be made via the BHIM App and UPI. International Division students may use online.

Take caution when selecting your classes (when options are provided). Please refer to your programme guide for information on the courses available. If you decide to change your course later, you risk losing the time you had set up for your study.

If you are utilizing a third-party service (such as a cybercafé or another location) to submit your Ignou 2nd year admission form, please double-check that the courses have been properly selected and that the programme money has been paid. Please print a copy of the completed form and the payment confirmation.

If you pay for the same programme twice, one of the payments will be credited back to your account.

Do not wait until the deadline to submit your Ignou 2nd year admission form.

Do not make the second payment right away if your first online payment was unsuccessful in updating. Please wait a day, verify the status of the payment, and then make a choice.
