IGNOU offers various undergraduate and postgraduate programs in an Online mode. Currently, in India, an Online Ph.D is not acceptable and hence IGNOU also does not offer you Ph.D in online mode. If in case you still want to pursue PH.D from IGNOU, then you have to pursue it in regular mode.

If you are a working professional and want to pursue Ph.D without leaving your job then you can opt for the DBA program. The full form of DBA is a Doctoral of Business Administration. It is equivalent to a Ph.D program and it can be completed in a minimum of 3-5 years whereas Ph.D takes 5-7 years to complete it.
