Eligibility Criteria

Bachelor’s Degree

For students interested in taking a distance MBA in any specialization, a bachelor's degree from a UGC recognized university is necessary. Furthermore, the average grade point for graduation needs to be at least 55%. After you have all done this you will be able to take the IGNOU distance MBA examination.

Course Duration

2-5 Years

The MBA distance programme lasts two years and can be extended in any specialist field to five years. As a result, if they cannot take or pass exams in two years, students will have a total of five years.

Admission Procedure 2024

You must take the IGNOU OPENMAT Entrance Test which is a common entrance test for management students. You have to register for the official IGNOU website for the OPENMAT exam, complete the request form, download the admission card and take the test. You must fill out a registration form and upload all relevant website documents after passing the OPENMAT test. Students can use a digital payment form on the IGNOU website to pay their academic fees. The IGNOU Management Prospectus is available on the website before you apply for the distance MBA program.
