Indira Gandhi National Open University accepts admission forms twice a year: January and July sessions. The course and semester may differ as per the specialization you have selected. The admission can be sought either offline or online. In the online mode of admission procedure, you need to visit the official website of IGNOU and then fill out the form by following on-screen directions. The complete information is mentioned below:

  1. First and foremost, hit the IGNOU official web link that is ignou.ac.in
  2. After that, hit the Register Now option and then register yourself.
  3. Next, press the New Admission option there.
  4. Tap on Sign In and then login to your account.
  5. Verify your Email ID and phone number.
  6. Enter requested details there.
  7. Now, you have to upload your necessary documents as prescribed by the prospectus of your respective course.
  8. Now, it's time to complete all the formalities related to the payment of a fee.
  9. Hit the Pay Fee option and then choose your preferred mode of fee payment.
  10. After that, enter credit or debit card details there.
  11. Tap on the End Submission button there.
  12. Download the fee receipt once the fee is submitted.
