IGNOU, New Delhi: The admit cards for Term End Examinations of the academic session June 2021 will be released today by the university. Students of Undergraduate, Postgraduate, Postgraduate Diploma and Certificate courses who are likely to give exams in August are required to download the admit cards from the official website of IGNOU, www.ignou.ac.in. The June Term End Examinations are scheduled from August 3, 2021.
Steps To Download Admit Cards
- Go to the official website of IGNOU – www.ignou.ac.in
- Click on the link of Hall Ticket
- Then you will land at the page of admit card links
- Then, you have to choose your course
- Submit your control number, mobile number, and Date of Birth
- Then admit card will appear on your screen
- You can then take the printout of the admit card
Students are required to carry their admit cards to the centres at the time of examinations and for this, you can take the printout of the admit cards/hall ticket. Also, there will be some instructions on the admit card which you have to follow while appearing for the exams. The exams will be held in two sessions – in the morning from 10 am to 1 pm and in the evening from 2 pm to 5 pm. However, you will find the actual duration only on the question paper.
IGNOU is conducting offline exams by keeping in mind the protocols and guidelines of COVID-19. Erstwhile, IGNOU released the official guideline on conducting term-end examinations with strict COVID-19 guidelines and protocols.
All the guidelines of COVID-19 released by IGNOU will be followed in all exam centres in the pursuit of maintaining the safety of students and invigilators. Students must stay in touch with their assigned regional centres because IGNOU can change the exam centre at the last minute due to the COVID situation. For this, the university will take appropriate actions later. However, requests for changes in date and exam session will not be entertained by the university.
IGNOU provides the privilege to students to appear in December TEE if they will not be able to appear in August. Also, the validity period of those whose registration ended in June 2021 will be extended to December 2021 by the varsity.
An official said that IGNOU’s regional centre in Nagpur will conduct final year/semester examinations in 4 districts of Maharashtra from August 3 onwards.
The regional director of IGNOU’s Nagpur regional centre said that at least 2,381 students will appear for the exams. The examination centres are in the Nagpur, Amravati, Chandrapur, Nanded, Gadchiroli, Wardha, and Buldhana districts of Vidarbha.
