DELHI: Vice-Chancellor of IGNOU Professor Nageshwar Roa along with the guest of honor Professor PVGD Prasad Reddy and few other professors launched BCA & MCA programmes virtually.
The main agenda of launching this course is that it helps students access IT and computing courses online. Students who have done their 12th can also apply for this program online now. And as we all know the current situation of the world being hit by another pandemic, an increase in the number of online courses is only a boost for students stating education has no boundaries.

Even IGNOU said that the main objective is to “open a channel of admission for computing courses for students, who have done the 10+2 and are interested in taking computing/IT as a career.”
On a broader picture these courses will give students the opportunity to be productive in their careers, with a proper understanding of the software industry. These degree programmes are therefore designed keeping in mind the semester format. The first semesters are aimed at giving students theoretical knowledge and secondly imparting them with practical knowledge and skills for the core development of subjects they have chosen.
The programme coordinators DrAkshay Kumar (MCA) and Dr MP Mishra (BCA) shared many details about the program and also gave an insight on what job role a candidate can opt for after pursuing this online course.
