Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has begun the registration process for the new admission cycle for the July 2022 session. The last date to apply online for this cycle is 31st July. Students can apply for various bachelor’s, master’s, diploma, postgraduate diploma, and certificate courses (both program and honours courses). 

The students can apply for all these courses through the official website of IGNOU (IGNOU – The People’s University) or directly through the Samarth-IGNOU Student Portal (SAMARTH-IGNOU). 

There are links on the website for each course where students can get a detailed description of all the UG, PG, and diploma courses. The students can check the minimum eligibility requirements, course fee, step-wise admission procedure, etc through these links. Eligible students can apply online and submit their documents. The document verification will also be done in the online mode after which the admission confirmation message will be sent to the student via e-mail or SMS.

Note- Admission for B.Ed and B.Sc Nursing will be done based on entrance examination only. 

How to Apply for IGNOU Admission in July 2022? 

Here’s how to apply online for admission in the IGNOU July 2022 session. 

Step 1- Go to the official website for IGNOU admission (Indira Gandhi National Open University)

Step 2- Register on the portal by filling your name, phone number, and few other basic details. 

Step 3- Login and fill the application for the course of your choice and then upload the required documents in their original scanned form. 

Step 4- Pay the online application fee of ₹200 and then submit the application form. 

Step 5- Download this application form or take a printout for future use. 

 Examination Form Submission: June 2022 term-end examination will begin from July, 2022 and end on 5th September. The link to submit the examination form is now available on the official IGNOU website. Students have to submit the online application fee of ₹200 per course (both theory and practical). The last date for this fee submission is 25th June. Click here! 

Those students who fail to submit the fees will get the time from 26-30 June to pay the fee but they will have to pay an additional late fee of ₹1100 along with the course fee of ₹200. Hence, the students have been advised to pay the fee on time to avoid the additional late fee cost. 

Revised exam schedule released: IGNOU has released the revised proposed datesheet for the June-2022 term-end examination. This revised schedule is available on the website. The datesheet also has the details for the exams based on MCQ pattern.
