Indira Gandhi National Open University is conducting its June 2021 Term End Examinations and they have been started from August 3 and will continue till September 9, 2021. IGNOU conducted exams in two sessions (Morning and Evening) by keeping in mind the guidelines of Covid-19.

Term End Exams are for the final year of IGNOU students who are pursuing PG/UG/PG Diploma/Certificate courses. IGNOU is conducting offline exams in different examination centres. There are 766 examination centres and 19 are outside the country and 80 centres are in jail for prisoners.

IGNOU has issued 4,23,849 hall tickets to eligible students and hence there are arrangements for over a lakh students to give exams. The hall tickets or admit cards are available on the website and students need to take the printout of hall tickets while appearing for exams.

However, the university is allowing entry to students even if they forget to bring hall tickets. The university has declared that students will be allowed to give exams without hall tickets if their name is on the list. Apart from this, any electronic gadget is not allowed inside the examination hall.

The university will issue hall tickets for BCA and MCA students separately. Students of BCA and MCA can contact their respective regional centres for hall tickets and their hall tickets are likely to be released in the last week of September for their practical examinations. However, all the theory examination centres are not open for Bachelor of Library and Science. Hence students are required to contact the superintendent of their respective examination centre and regional centres for practical examinations.
