According to a recent update on the official website of the IGNOU, admissions for the January 2024 sessions are open now. Anyone willing to gain admission to any of the Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate(PG), Certificate, Diploma, and PhD courses can apply. Visit the IGNOU’s official website for registration. Moreover, the last date to apply is 31st January. Apply before the last date, so you do not miss registering. 

If in case you are first time enrolling in the university make sure that you download the common prospectus of the university to know all the rules and regulations of the university. 

Follow these simple steps to enroll- 

• Visit the official IGNOU website.
• In the applicant login area, click on “NEW REGISTRATION.”
• Complete your registration details. Your username should be 8 to 16 characters, and your password should be alphanumeric and 8 to 16 characters.
• After providing the required information, click “SUBMIT.”
• Your username will be sent to you through email and SMS. Remember both your username and password.
• If you’ve already registered, simply click on “LOGIN.”

Required documents at the time of filling out the form- 

You need to attach all the documents required. Make sure to attach all the scanned copies of your documents. 

• A scanned signature (size should be less than 100 KB).
• A scanned photograph (size should be less than 100 KB).
• If you belong to SC/ST/OBC, a scanned copy of your Category Certificate (size should be less than 200 KB).
• Scanned copies of your Relevant Educational Qualifications (size should be less than 200 KB).
• If applicable, a scanned copy of your Experience Certificate (size should be less than 200 KB).
