According to an update sent by IGNOU on its microblogging site X (previously Twitter), registration in IGNOU for the July session 2023 has been extended to 10th October, aspiring candidates can enroll in all the programs except for the certificate programs as admissions for the certificate programs are closed. You can apply easily through the official website of IGNOU.

The last date for “Fresh Admission for all programmes offered in ODL/Online mode except certificate programmes for the July 2023 session has been extended again till 10th October 2023.

If in case you are first time enrolling in the university make sure that you download the common prospectus of the university to know all the rules of the university. 

Follow these steps to enroll- 

• Visit the official website of the IGNOU University “ http://ignou.ac.in/ “
• Click on the “ Available Program tab” 
• Select the program you are interested in. 
• Carefully check all the details like eligibility, fees, and duration. 
• Download the common prospectus to learn more about the university.
• Click on the Tab “ NEW REGISTRATION “
• Fill in all the details.
• Upload all the required documents.
• Recheck all the information
• Click on the submit button. 

Required documents at the time of filling out the form- 

You need to attach all the documents required, each with a specific size limit 

• Scanned photograph of yourself (size should be less than 100 KB).
• Scanned copy of any Experience Certificate, if you have one (size should be less than 200 KB).
• Scanned copy of your relevant Educational Qualifications (size should be less than 200 KB).
• Your scanned signature (size should be less than 100 KB).
• Scanned copy of your Category Certificate, if you belong to SC/ST/OBC (size should be less than 200 KB).
