IGNOU B.Sc Admission 2024: Dates (Released)

IGNOU's Distance BSc program is divided into six separate sections. The first three segments cover topics associated with the selected specialization, while the final three segments include core subjects. To provide flexibility, IGNOU uses a modular approach in the design of its program. Because of this arrangement, students who might not be able to finish all the courses can have clear exit points from their academic career. For instance, a student qualifies for the award of a Graduate Diploma in that specific specialization after successfully completing the first segment of that specialization.

The program's cost must be paid annually. For instance, the first-year tuition for a B. Sc. in Nursing is Rs. 23,000/-. The cost is once more Rs. 46,000/- for the program's last two years. In the third year as well, the money must be paid in full along with the completed application form; there is no need to wait for University contact before paying the price according to schedule. The other specializations must adhere to the same rules.
The responsible Regional Director will give you a programme re-registration form together with the necessary instructions for your third year of B.Sc. You can get in touch with your Regional Centre if you do not receive the form.

Registration for the IGNOU's July 2024 session of the BSc programme is now open. Make sure you enlist during this time if you want to receive a degree from IGNOU.

The BSc programme has a total fee of INR 16,500. Approximately INR 5,500 in annual fees must be submitted by students.

The IGNOU BSc programme can be finished in three to five years. However, pupils with disabilities have access to a special extension.

Students must have successfully completed their 10+2 exams from a recognised educational board with a minimum of 50% marks in order to be eligible for the BSc programme at IGNOU.
