Study Material Distribution System

There are two options for obtaining study materials from IGNOU, either in electronic or physical form. Counseling Sessions

Evaluation

The assessment for theoretical courses usually includes two components, which are continuous evaluation through assignments and a final exam at the end of the term. The assignments make up 30% of the total grade for the course, whereas the final exam carries a weight of 70%. To pass the course, a minimum score of 40% is mandatory for both the assignments and the final exam.

Semester Exam

Examinations are held twice yearly for two admission cycles, in June and December. These exams account for 70% of the total course grade and are taken during the semester. If students do not achieve the minimum passing grade in the course, they can retake the exam during the next cycle until the program ends.
