IGNOU Launches New Courses – MSc In Information Security And MA In Entrepreneurship

On the occasion of ‘World Youth Skill Day,’ the Indira Gandhi National Open University has launched two new courses MSc in Information and MA in Entrepreneurship through ODL- Online and Distance Learning. Students interested in these courses can apply by visiting the official website of IGNOU. The last date of submission of the application form for the courses is 31st July 2021.

MA in Entrepreneurship

School of Vocational and Training at IGNOU is also offering the MA in the Entrepreneurship program. The minimum duration of completing this course is also 2 years and the maximum duration is 5 years. This course is designed to impart knowledge, skill and competencies to enable students to start their own business ventures. The program is focused on various aspects of startup, innovation and soft skills which are essential for a successful entrepreneurial initiative.

To be eligible for the MA in Entrepreneurship the candidates need to clear a bachelors degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university. After completing the one year course students have the option to leave the course and get the PG Diploma of one year in entrepreneurship.

The content of the course will be offered in English, through a combination of printed self-education material, audio-video programmes, face-to-face advice, web support, assignments, Gyan Darshan Channel, EDUSAT, Gyan Vani, Gyan Dhara and SWAYAMPRABHA. In order to receive the course, candidates are required to hold a Bachelor’s degree from an established university/institute in any discipline or its equivalent.

MSc in Information Security

School of Vocational and Training at IGNOU is offering the MSc in Information Security course. The minimum duration of completing the course is 2 years and the maximum duration is 5 years. This course aims to prepare graduate students for productive courses in information security by providing an outstanding environment of teaching and research in core areas of the discipline.

To be eligible for the MSc in Information Security the candidates need to clear a bachelors degree in any discipline or equivalent from a recognized university. The medium of instruction of this course is English. The total fee for the program is Rs. 43,200 and students are needed to pay Rs. 21,600 each year. Addition registration fee of Rs. 200 is also required to pay by the students at the time of admission.
