IGNOU Extended Last Date of Registration for Jan 2024 Session to 20th March

According to a recent update on the official website of the IGNOU, admissions for the January 2024 sessions are extended to 20th March. Earlier the deadline was 10th March. Anyone willing to gain admission to any Undergraduate (UG), Postgraduate(PG), Certificate, Diploma, and PhD courses can apply. Visit the IGNOU’s official website for registration. Moreover, to save your academic year, please remember to apply on time. 

If in case you are first time enrolling in the university make sure that you download the common prospectus of the university to know all the rules and regulations of the university. Knowing your university will give you more confidence. 

Follow these simple steps to enroll-

• Visit the official website of the ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in.
• To begin, go to the applicant login area and select “NEW REGISTRATION.”
• Fill out your registration details. Your username must be between 8 to 16 characters, and your password should be alphanumeric and also between 8 to 16 characters.
• After entering all the necessary information, click on “SUBMIT.”
• Your username will be sent to you via email and SMS. Remember to note down both your username and password.
• If you have previously registered, just click on “LOGIN.”

Required documents at the time of filling out the form-

Ensure you attach all required documents, scanned copies only.

• Attach a scanned signature (size less than 100 KB).
• Attach a scanned photograph (size less than 100 KB).
• If you belong to SC/ST/OBC, include a scanned copy of your Category Certificate (size less than 200 KB).
• Attach scanned copies of your Relevant Educational Qualifications (size less than 200 KB).
• If applicable, provide a scanned copy of your Experience Certificate (size less than 200 KB).
