IGNOU Launches a New PG Diploma Course in Electronic Media. Get Details Here

The Indira Gandhi National Open University has recently released a notification for introducing a new PG diploma program in Electronic media. In this course, students who want to make their career in television, radio, audio and visual journalism can apply for this course before the 31st of July, 2022. 

The PG Diploma program in Electronic media will empower the students who want to make their careers by upskilling their knowledge in the field of online journalism with the latest media sources. The duration of the program is a minimum of one year and a maximum of three years. Candidates can easily apply for this new course before the 31st of July, 2022. 

Dr Amit Kumar (co-ordinator) said that the course is very beneficial for those who have a dream to do jobs in radio and television in the field of journalism. 

Currently, the course is available in the English language only but the students can provide their assignments and projects in the Hindi language too.

Fee for the Course

The fee is very affordable for this PG Diploma program in Electronic media. The complete fee for this course is 9500 which can be paid in two installments. The course can be done with other Diploma or degree programs by the students. Candidates who have already enrolled on any other program or courses can also do this course as per their will. Students who are working professionally somewhere and want to enhance their skills in mass media, and electronic media with various aspects like basics of journalism, radio and television etc. They can easily pursue their course as formal education in electronic media. 

Complete audio and video resources will be provided for this program. IGNOU  is known for good quality education in various disciplines. The course will be provided through distance education mode to the candidates. It can be done in two semesters with a minimum of one year of duration.
