Printed Study Materials

While the university offers MBA classes online, it meets its self-study requirements. Students can request printed materials to be sent to the address provided on the application form. If students desire printed materials, they must pay an additional fee at the time of admission.

Online Study Material:

IGNOU provides students with a variety of digital resources to choose from. Students can use the eGyankosh site to obtain study materials and a research repository. The IGNOU Mobile app also allows you to search for and download PDF books. This IGNOU e-content application is available on Playstore.

Weekend Counselling

IGNOU offers weekend classes or introduction meetings to students in order to introduce the university and its programmes. Students attend weekend counselling sessions at their local centres for six weeks.

Audio and Visual Lectures:

When compared to the past, IGNOU has come a long way. Audio and visual lectures are available at the university, and students can attend them on the following platforms:

• Broadcasting Via DD1, All India Radio
• Screening of Lectures at Study Centers
• Recording which can be purchased
• Live Lectures on platforms like SWAYAM etc.

Radio Lectures:

In conjunction with All India Radio and Phone-In Services, IGNOU organises a number of interactive sessions. Gyankosh, GyanDarshan, Gyanvani, and a number of other programmes are available to help you get acquainted with the curriculum.

Assessments

IGNOU evaluates students' performance based on coursework and term-end examinations. In order to sit for the exam, students must submit their assignments before the end of the year/semester. Students can use the IGNOU site to get answers to all of their questions about their assignments.

Assignments

In order for IGNOU students to be included in the final exams, the assignment must be done and submitted on a timely basis. The official IGNOU website provides courses and schedules for each topic. IGNOU covers 30% of the work and student surveillance is required.

Examinations

Exams are held in June and December each year. Exams account for 70% of a student's grade in each class, and students who fail a test have the opportunity to reapply in the next cycle. You can reapply in December if you failed the examinations in June, for example.
