IGNOU measures the performance of students on the basis of exams and assignments.

Assignments

IGNOU accepts the work of students from all classes for the final exam. For each course and on the official website of IGNOU you will find both tasks. Thirty per cent of the tasks were weighed by IGNOU. All results must be monitored by the student. Students can submit their work in or online at their regional local centre.

Examinations

Examinations shall be carried out by two examination cycles in June and December. Exams make up 70% of a student's grade in each class. In case of a breakdown, for example, you could repeat your test in the December cycle.
