Eligibility Criteria

Graduation

Students must have at least a bachelor’s degree from a UGC accredited university to take part in MBA Investment Banking and Equity Research remotely. Students must also ensure that they have achieved a minimum grade of 55 per cent. If they have the relevant qualifications, the candidates would be able to take the IGNOU MBA Entrance Exam.

Course Duration

2-5 Years

The minimum duration of distance MBA Investment Banking and Equity Research is 2 years, however, this duration can be extended to 5 years. Students get a time period of 5 years in total to pass all the exams.

Admission Procedure 2024

After passing the OPENMAT exam you must complete an application form and submit the appropriate website documents. Using any digital payment option, students on the IGNOU website can pay for their lessons.

IGNOU also provides a mobile app for you to search and download PDF books. The IGNOU e-content application is a smartphone application for Playstore online studies.

Weekend Counselling

IGNOU offers weekend counselling or introductory meetings to students to explain the university and the programs. Students will attend weekend counselling sessions at their local centre for six weeks.

Audio and Visual Lectures

IGNOU has made tremendous progress as compared to the olden days. The university has the facilities of audio and visual lectures and students can attend such lectures on the following platforms:

Radio Lectures

IGNOU hosts a number of interactive sessions in collaboration with All India Radio and Phone-In Services. Gyankosh, GyanDarshan, Gyanvani, and a variety of other programmes are offered to introduce you to the curriculum.

Assessments

The performance of a student at IGNOU is evaluated by means of tests and tasks. As tasks, pupils receive answers to questions and practise. In both their academics and their term assessments, students are expected to be excellent.

Assignments

In order to be included in the final exams, IGNOU students are required to give assignments and they have to be delivered on time. The IGNOU official website shows the courses and the timelines per subject. 30% of the work is covered by IGNOU and monitoring of the students is needed. Students may apply online or in a regional centre in their vicinity for courses.

Examinations

Exams are held twice a year, in June and December. Exams account for 70% of a student's grade in each class, and students who fail a test can reapply in the next cycle. If you failed the examinations in June, for example, you can reapply in December.
